Fingerlooping Unterricht

Kaum war ich hier drueben habe ich erstmal Kontakt zu der ansaessigen SCA Gruppe hergestellt denn mit Gleichgesinnten ist es immer noch am besten wenn es um Mittelalter und co geht.
Eine sehr lustige leicht durchgeknallte Truppe die man einfach nur gern haben muss.
Nebenbei hatte ich mal erwaehnt wenn wer Lust hat dann kann ich ihm ja dann mal Fingerlooping zeigen, gesagt getan daraus ist jetzt ein Unterricht mit 10 Schuelern geworden, werde ein paar Fotos von meinen Studenten machen.
Oh man was bin ich nervoes.
As soon as i arrived in Canada i made contact with the local SCA Group, because meeting up with people who have the same interest as me when it comes to medieval and co. is just fab.
A very funny slightly crazy group you just cant hate.
I ones mentioned to them that if somebody is interested i could show some fingerlooping, well it turned into a teaching class with at least 10 students, going to take some pictures of my Students.
Boy am i nervous.

Buttons done

Geschafft die Knoepfe sitzen und das Kleid sitzt durch die Aenderung enger als wie zuvor was ja nicht schlimm ist.  Und da ich schon dabei war habe ich den Ausschnitt verbessert.
Its done the buttons are all in place and the dress is actually sitting more tight then before what isn't a bad thing after all.
And because I was already working on the dress I made the neckline new too.



                                    

Knoepfe Knoepfe Knoepfe Buttons Buttons Buttons

Da ich ja mal  Nestelloecher am Kleid angebracht hatte und dann mir das Ganze nicht mehr gefiel, musste was anderes her. Because i did ones make loop holes on my dress and i really didnt like anymore, so something different was needed.
Also raus mit dem Alten und rein mit dem Neuen. Out with the old, in with the new.
Hier habe ich die eine Seite rausgetrennt und das neue Stueck wartet drauf eingenaeht zu werden.
So i cut out one side and the new piece is waiting to be stitched into place.

Fast fertig eingenaeht und die Knoepfe mal Probe angesteckt um zu schauen wie es aussehen wird. Nearly done stitching, and pinned the buttons on just to see how it will turn out.

                                                            
Endlich das Seitenteil ist fertig und das Garn der ehemaligen Nestelloecher auf der anderen Seite habe ich entfernt damit daraus die Knopfloecher werden.
Finaly the sidepiece is done and i removed the yarn of the holes on the other side so they can be transformed into buttonholes.
 
                                  

 

 

Da ich dachte es wuerde doch ein bisschen Langweilig aussehen die Knopfloecher mit einem gruenen Leinegarn zu naehen, musste was anderes her also ROT.

I thought it would be a bit boring if the buttonholes would be green too so somthing else was needed, RED it will be.

 

21 Knoepfe und 21 Knopfloecher vorne, und danach werden auch die Aermel mit Knoepfen versehen dann kann ich die auch mal hochkrempeln wenn es warm werden sollte.

21 Buttons and 21 buttonholes at the front, after that the sleeves will get buttons too, so if it gets warm i just roll them up.
