In General

Ich bin sowas von glücklich ich habe eine Katzenpension gefunden wo die Dame genauso verrückt ist wie ich. Selber kümmert sie sich um Streuner die gesund gepflegt werden kastriert, und wenn sie nicht mehr rausgelassen werden können, dürfen sie den Lebensabend bei ihr verbringen, oder sogar auch vermittelt werden.
Und für Dana es geht langsam aber sicher voran mit dem Brettchenweben und sollte bald fertig sein, nicht das du denkst das ich dich vergessen habe.
I am so happy, found a cattery where the Lady who runs it, is crazy over cats the very same way as i am. She also takes in strays and cares for them if they are sick, gets them spayed and if they are too sick to be released again they can stay with her ´till they pass away, or even get rehomed.
This here is for Dana, the tabletweaving is slowly but steady getting there should be done soon, hope you didnt think that i forgot about you.

Kanada/ Canada here i come

Nächstes Jahr ist es soweit und wir ziehen erstmal nach Kanada und wenn alles klapt wollen wir dort bleiben nach Ablauf der 2,5 Jahre.
Auf eine Weise freue ich mich total aber auf der anderen Seite ganz und garnicht, denn dort wo wir hinziehen dürfen wir nur 2 Tiere halten. Das heißt das 3. Tier muß zurück bleiben, entweder auf Zeit bis wir eine Private Bleibe haben oder für immer.
Dann die Frage welches der Tiere soll es sein, welches würde den Transport nach Kanada besser verkraften.
Fragen über Fragen die mir Magenschmerzen bereiten.
We are moving to canada next year and if we really like it there after the 2,5 years point, we are going to stay.
Really looking forward to it, but on the other hand not at all, because where we are going to move we are only aloud to keep two pets.
Meaning that one pet has to stay behind either just on time untill we found a private affordable renting or rehoming it forever.
And then there is the question wich one of the pets is it going to be, and wich one would deal with the transport better.
Questions over questions and i am getting stomachaching over all this

Ich habe fertig, I have done it

Ich habe es geschaft das Kleid ist fertig und kam auch schon auf dem Vlotho Burgfest zum Einsatz, die Zeit hat aber nicht mehr gereicht um vorne Knöpfe anzubringen, deshalb mußte ich mich Morgens immer einnähen. Was aber mit der Zeit sehr schnell ging und auch sehr gut aussah bin am überlegen ob ich das nicht so lasse.
Wenn ich ein Foto finde werde ich es reinstellen, irgendjemand hat bestimmt von mir ein Bild gemacht.
I have done it the dress is finaly finished and i did wear to the Vlotho Castefestival, didnt make the buttons though had not enough time in the end, so i had to stitch myself into the dress every morning. After some time it was very quickly done, actually thinking about it leaving it that way.
Going to upload a picture if i find one, somebody must have taken one of me.

Yiepich ich habe die Ärmel fast fertig, angesteckt sind sie und das Nähen geht auch super schnell. Sobald ich das Kleid fertig habe werde ich Fotos machen. Drückt mir die Daumen das es an dem Marktwochenende nicht heiß wird, sonst schmelze ich in dem Wollkleid obwohl es dünne Wolle ist.Deshalb werde ich mir wenn die Zeit reicht noch eine schlichte Leinencotte nähen.
Die Socken sind fertig und werden evtl. getauscht da ich schon ein Paar besitze.
Yeah the sleeves are nearly done, pinned to the dress and the stitching will be done in no time.
As soon as the dress is finished i will upload some pictures.Hopefully the weather wont be to hot on the Market weekend, otherwise i will melt in the woolendress even though its a thin woolencloth.
If i have enough time on hand i will make a simple Linnencotte.
The socks are done and maybe going to be swapped for something, as i already got one pair.

Kaninchendecke nimmt langsam aber sicher Form an, hatte mich entschieden die Felle direkt auf einen festen Wollstoff aufzunähen/ rabbitfure blanket is getting there and i decided to stich the fures directly onto a strong woolencloth.

Die Ipod Touch Hülle is nebenbei entstanden, angefangen hat es als Socke aber da ich am Anfang was falsch gemacht habe, wurde das hier raus/ The Ipod Touch casing happend to be originaly a sock, but because i did a mistake right at the beginning i made this instead.

the tablet weaving and i really hate each other, somehow its not working out the way i want it to be/ Das Brettchenweben und ich haßen uns, irgendwie paßt es hinten und vorne nicht hin so wie ich es haben will.

Allgemein In general

Habe heute die Nähte des Herjolfnes Kleides fertig bekommen, und morgen will ich die Ärmel machen was ein bißchen länger dauert, will ja nicht was verschneiden. Danach kommt das Füttern mit Seide dran und der Ausschnitt.
Dann mache ich noch nebenbei eine Brettchenbortengürtel als Tausch.

Today i have finaly finished those hems of the Herjolfnes gown, and tomorrow i wanna continue with the sleeves what will take some time as i really don´t wanna mess that up.
After that i am going to line it with some silk and build the neck part.
And meanwhile i am tabletweaving a belt as an exchange.

Flinkhandtreffen ist zuende und ich bin wieder zuhause

Donnerstag früh ging es Richtung Thüringen Kleinberndten, in ein kleines verschlafenes Dorf, zu dem Flinkhandtreffen wo ca 40 leicht verrückte Menschen zusammen kamen.
Wir haben zusammen gelacht, geschnackt, gekocht, getauscht, gekauft, und anderen geholfen sich neue Viren einzufangen. Die Kattulga hatte ihren Rudi Raffzahn ( Kadiermaschine) dabei und ich durfte meine Texelwolle durchjagen und habe in kürzester Zeit die Löckchen in tolle Vliese verwandelt. Was eine enorme Arbeitserleichterung ist, diese Mengen nicht per Hand mit den Wollkämmen zu bearbeiten.
Auf dem Bild könnt ihr sehen was ich alles mitgebracht habe, also da wären 4x Seidengarn von Steinmaus, die Spindel von Hidril, die Brettchen gewebten Seiden Borten von der Bine, das handgewebte Nadelröllchen von Silvia http://de.dawanda.com/shop/Zeitensprung  und zuletzt die Bronzeschließen von dem Barden zufinden auf http://www.silberkram.de/

Flinkhandtreffen

Ich freu mich so am Donnerstag fahre ich los und treffe mich mit anderen Flinkhändern in Kleinberndten, das wird lustig.
Fotos werden dann noch folgen.
I am really looking forward to thursday, thats when i am going to head of and meet other Flinkhänder in Kleinberndten, that will be fun.

Pflaumenkuchen mit Sahne Plumcake with cream

Ich habe leider die Angewohnheit vorzeitig das Spinnen abzubrechen und zu Zwirnen nur um zuschauen wie das fertige Garn aussieht, das war mal die Giftschlange
Eine absolute schöne Farbkombination aus verschiedenen Lila,Pink, Rot Tönen.
Have got the habbit of quit spinning and start twining, just to see how the finished yarn will look like, by the way that was ones the poiseness snake.
An absolutly nice colour combination with different shades of  Purple, Pink and Red.

Färbewahn/ Madness of the Colour

Irgendwie hat mich das Färbevirus gepackt, darauf hin habe ich meine Vorräte gesichtet und BFL und Merino entdeckt.
Das BFL habe ich ziemlich wild gefärbt und es sieht ausgebreitet aus wie eine Giftschlange, aber gesponnen ist die Schlange zahm und es sind wircklich schöne Farben entstanden. Wird wohl was für meine kleine Schwester werden. Sie steht auf solche Mädchenfarben.
Das Merino wurde ein Blumentroll ( die Farbkombi habe ich auf einem anderem Blog gesehen aber die macht das immer sooooo toll, davon bin ich weit entfernt) und auch hier das gleiche, gesponnen zeigt es sich von der Schönen Seite.
Somehow the Colour Madness caught up with, so therefor i sighted my stash and yeaaah i found some BFL and Merino.
I went wild with the BFL and stretched out it does look like a poisonous snake, but spun the Snake turns tame and it does creat some really nice colours. Going to make something for my lil sis she does like those girly colours.
The Merino transformed into a Flowertroll ( seen the colourcombination on another Blog and she really does wonderfull things with colours, i am far far from doing so) and also here it shows its chocolate site.

Sunrise in the Mist

Hatte Langeweile am Abend und kurzerhand 100g Texelkammzug mit Sewosäurefarben gefärbt, und das Ganze im Backofen fixiert. Heraus kam das hier, ganz ehrlich gesagt nicht sehr ansprechend, aber man soll ja nicht zu schnell Urteilen.
Was bored the other night so i coloured 100gramm of Texelwool with Sewo Acidcolours in the oven.
This is how it turned out to be and actually not really like it, but hey dont judge on first sight.

Angesponnen sah das Ganze schonmal viel besser aus, leider zeigt das Bild die schönen Grüntöne nicht und verfälscht es zu sehr ins Blaue.

My cam didnt like the nice greenish colours and it does have a bit to much of a hint of blue.

Das Spinnen ging erstaunlicher Weise sehr schnell, und so sieht es am Ende aus, ich mag es aber was daraus wird darüber habe ich mir noch keine Gedanken gemacht. Erinnert mich an einen Sonnenaufgang im Nebeligen  Wald, wenn gerade die ersten Sonnenstrahlen zwischen den Tannen hervorblitzen.

Was quite surprised how fast the spinning went, and thats how it looked like in the end, really do like it now but no clue what i am going to make out of it. It does remind me somehow of a sunrise in a misty forest, when the first sunbeams hit the trees.  

Wichtelgeschenk für Shadow-Witch

Da die Shadow-Witch richtig geraten hat wer ihre Wichtelmama war, kann ich auch jetzt posten was ich für sie gebastelt habe.
Da waren ein Notizbuch was ich eine neue Hülle gebastelt hatte, die kpl aus Wolle besteht, Bild muß ich noch suchen.
Dazu einen Seidenen Hänger mit Eiskristallen bestickt, als kleine Draufgabe Englischen Twinigs Tee und Zitronenduft Teelichter, da sie keine Schnuckersachen haben wollte.

Winterwichtelgeschenk /Winter secret santa Present time

Ich habe bekommen eine ganz tolle kuschelige lila Farbende Tasche mit einem Eiskristal der aus Perlen gestickt ist, dazu passend eine kleine Handytasche auch mit einem tollen Kristall. An der  Tasche war als Schließe eine Bronzespange die ich aber ersetzen werde, damit ich diese für meine Gewandung nutzen kann. Und zum Schluß war da noch einer Blaue Glasperle umwickelt mit Kupferdraht als Anhänger, und gaaaanz lecker Lakritze yam yam.
Und meine Wichtelmama war Miroque, vielen Lieben Dank nochmal

Winterwichtelgeschenk /Winter secret santa

Heute ist mein Winterwichtelgeschenk rausgegangen an psssssss ist noch ein Geheimniss und was es ist kann ich erst posten wenn alle auspacken dürfen. Aber es hat Spaß gemacht und meine Hände haben diesmal mitgespielt was leider nicht immer der Fall ist.
