Rustikaler Rustica

Manchmal braucht Frau etwas anderes als dünnes Alpaka auf der Spule weil man dann doch langsam am Rad dreht *g*   Sometimes a woman needs something different then fine Alpalka on the bobbin, as it starts to drive you nuts.

Das eine ist Texelwolle die ich mir mal als Rohwolle gekauft hatte und vor kurzem sogar entsorgen wollte, weil ich mit den Handkarden am verzweifeln war. Gut das ich das nicht getan hatte, den mit meinem Wollkamm wird die Wolle super toll fluffig und das verspinnen ist einfach nur ein Traum. Das Wollfett wasche ich immer erst nach dem Zwirnen aus, dadurch wird sie noch fluffiger.
This is Texelwool i once bought and actually wanted to throw it away  because i had no luck witch my handkarders. Thanks god i didnt, as with my woolkombs the fibre just turns out lush and the spinning mmhhh.
Also i wash some of the lanolin out once i am finished spinning and it gives it an extra fluff.

Und das ist die Manx Loghtan aus England, riecht im Trockenen Zustand vor dem Spinnen schön nach Schaf, im nassen Zustand leider ein bißchen in die Richtung wie nasser Hund was sich aber mit dem Trocknen wieder gibt. Das Manx habe ich dreifach verzwirnt im Navajostyle.

Daneben ist eine Suffolk zweifach gezwirnt.
And here we have a Manx Loghtan fom the UK, if it is dry it really has a nice sheep smell to it, if it is wet it does stink abit like wet dog but once it dried it smells like sheep again.

Next to it is a Suffolkwool twined twice
